The children should all have a book with them when they come home tonight and a note is stapled to the October calendar in their agenda. Some have chosen their own books and some I have provided. I often ask them to read their book 2 nights in a row for practice and more fluency. If they have chapter books, they can keep them at home until they are done. Please let me know if you feel the book is too hard for them, they are using some strategies to choose their own books but it takes time. Thank you and happy reading!
